Based on the original artwork of Simon Drew, these rich ruby red braces are made of handwoven silk & provide the perfect ingredient proportions for your favorite martini, be it sweet, medium or dry. Made with a Y-back with black leather crosspatch & lower elastic, these limited edition braces are backed with Melton wool. Polished nickel-finish brass fittings allow for fine tuning the fit, and black runner ends come with buttons for convenience. Made by the world's premier braces maker, Albert Thurston, these braces are one of just 500 pairs offered worldwide. Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.

All U.S. orders are shipped via the US Postal Service (USPS). Rates vary by the number of items in your order. The estimated delivery timeframes by type of service are:

  • First Class Mail – 4 to 6 business days
  • Priority Mail – 2 to 3 business days
  • Express Mail – 1 to 2 business days

HASSLE FREE RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Assuming your suspenders are unsoiled and unworn (other than try-on of course!), we are happy to make an exchange or issue a refund. Simply follow the instructions on the back of your packing slip and mail them back to us either

If you are returning your suspenders because we made a mistake, call us at 800-393-4508 and we will send you the correct suspenders with a postage-paid return envelope.

If you simply want a different pair of suspenders, we ask that you pay the postage to return the suspenders. If your shipping address is within the U.S., we will ship your replacement suspenders to you for free. Or, for a $6.00 fee we will send you the new suspenders with a postage paid return envelope for the return item – just call us at 800-393-4508 to arrange.
