KIDS SUSPENDERS
Today we are going to talk about Kids suspenders, suspenders for Children. At SuspenderStore we pride our selves on having a huge variety of styles and sizes for children so that all kids can wear suspenders. And kids look darn cute in suspenders.
So the first question you need to answer is "what size suspenders does my child need?"
You can measure the child by running a tape measure along the path that the suspender travels on the child, starting where they would attach on the back and coming over the opposite shoulder to where they attach on the front. That length is their size in inches.
We have three main sizes of kids suspenders, 25 inches long, 30 inches, and 36 inches. You will find that in general most infants and toddlers under 2 years old will wear the 25 inch suspenders, kids who are between 2 years old and 5 years old will wear the 30 inch suspenders, and then the 36 inch suspenders will work for most kids older than 5 years old until they are about 5 feet tall. Then once they hit 5 feet tall they will transition to adult sizes.
Please take into account the build of the child as you select their size. For example, if they are close to the next largest size and they are large of build or tall for their age it is always safer to get the next larger size, because you can make suspenders shorter but you can't make them longer.
So once you know what size you want, then the next choice is whether you want clip or button suspenders. Most people will want clip suspenders as you need to sew buttons onto pants to wear the button suspenders.
