Wear your belt and your suspenders at the same time AND enjoy the comfort of side clip suspenders! Designed with an X-back & a black leather Perry embossed crosspatch, these suspenders clip to a belt up to 1 1/2-inches wide. Heavy duty plastic clips slide onto your belt - one on each side instead of on your front and back like traditional suspenders. For people who sit or drive a lot, moving the clips from the back to the side feels good on the back! The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
